DESCRIPTION

In the United States, skin cancer surpasses the incidence of all other cancers combined. Timely diagnosis of melanoma and other aggressive skin cancers holds the potential to save lives. As an escalating public health concern, skin cancer is increasingly being identified and managed by primary care physicians. This initiative is designed to provide physicians with the latest insights into the diagnosis and treatment of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. The event will feature a buffet dinner, followed by a series of concise lectures and case presentations.

Objectives
  1. Identify challenges in pigmented lesions and dermatologic surgery.
  2. Identify new issues in melanoma surgical oncology.
  3. Discuss the newly approved therapies for high risk and advanced melanoma.
  4. Explain the future of melanoma research.
  5. Explain the potential treatments for Metastastic Uveal Melanoma.
