The New York-Mid-Atlantic Consortium for Genetics and Newborn Screening Services (NYMAC) is a one of seven regional collaboratives funded by the Genetic Services Branch in the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA)’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) and includes DC, DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, and WV. NYMAC’s charge is to ensure that individuals with heritable conditions and their families have access to quality care and appropriate genetic expertise and information/resources.
