Event Overview:

An 8 hour live lecture series along with a 2 hour online course; approved by the Maryland State Board of Examiners in Optometry (BOE) to satisfy the 10-hour mandatory scope expansion course to maintain therapeutic licensure for Maryland Optometrists. COPE approval also pending.

Synopsis:

The live portion of the event features a dynamic group of experts in optometry and ophthalmology delivering the latest clinical guideline in oral pharmaceuticals, antivirals, glaucoma management, foreign body removal, lab testing and imaging, and systemic diseases as it pertains to ophthalmologic clinical care. 5. Demostrate independent management of open angle glaucoma including diagnosis, management with topical pharmaceuticals, monitoring for progression, and appropriate referrals for surgical methods when indicated.
