The 49th Annual Florida Suncoast Pediatric Conference will provide valuable updates on current trends in pediatric medicine and its specialties. 6. Apply evidence based screening tools and assessment strategies to evaluate sleep disorders in children and adolescents.
7. Identify best practices for autism screening and apply evidence based strategies for timely diagnosis, referral, and ongoing management to support optimal patient and family outcomes.
8. Apply evidence based cardiac screening guidelines for high school athletes, recognize risk factors and warning signs for sudden cardiac events, and determine appropriate clearance, referral, and followup.
9. Apply evidence based guidelines for shortened courses of antibiotic therapy, optimizing treatment effectiveness while reducing adverse effects, antimicrobial resistance, and unnecessary antibiotic exposure.
