Overview

The 25th Annual Current Concepts in Sleep Conference promotes an interdisciplinary understanding of sleep-related medical disorders. The focus of the 2025 conference includes clinical applications in management of both obstructive and central sleep apnea, insomnia, circadian rhythms, pharmacology, perioperative outcomes, dental sleep medicine, durable medical equipment (DME) and pediatric sleep disorders.

Objectives

After attending this activity, the learner will demonstrate the ability to:


  1. Describe the constellation of sleep disorders observed in autism along with various therapeutic approaches.
  2. Identify the unique challenges in performing sleep studies in children including available masks, end-tidal CO2 monitoring, events definitions and normative data.
  3. Discuss the natural history and treatment of sleep disorders during pregnancy.
  4. Recognize the indications for hypoglossal nerve stimulation in adults and children with obstructive sleep apnea.
