Overview
Changes in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery are occurring at a rapid pace, including advances in head and neck cancer treatment, new approaches to patients with laryngeal disorders, emerging techniques in management of sinus and nasal disease, and the assessment and treatment of ear disorders. The goal of this course is to provide health care practitioners with a comprehensive update on current practices in all fields of otolaryngology-head and neck surgery.

Objectives
  1. Recognize role of behavioral management for common laryngology complaints like globus pharyngeus, cough, and throat clearing.
  2. Explain recent advances in management of tinnitus and ear surgery.
  3. Describe the management of thyroid lesions through radiofrequency ablation.

evaluation component, enables the participant to meet the expectations of the American Board of Otolaryngology’s Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of recognizing participation.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) accepts AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
