Overview

For the busy, yet self-disciplined faculty member whose schedule does not permit attendance at our scheduled 2-day workshops, but who has a curriculum development or curriculum revision project that would benefit from a structured approach and faculty mentorship, this bundle offers an opportunity to more flexibly work towards their educational objectives. This bundle provides access to asynchronous lectures that provide an in-depth overview of curriculum development principles, and facilitated exercises in applying the six curriculum development steps to your project. Each exercise will then be reviewed by a faculty facilitator who will meet with you for up to 15 hours within the academic year as you plan and execute your curriculum.

Cost: $6,000 Faculty/Fellows

Non-credit professional development tuition remission is available for Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine employees.

If you are interested in attending this program, please contact Kim Mryncza at [email protected] prior to registration.

Objectives
  1. Describe the six steps of curriculum development and the importance of congruence among them.
  2. Apply the six steps of curriculum development to a curricular project.
