This bi-monthly online resource addresses the latest in infectious diseases, including recent research, outbreaks, and treatment outbreaks. Articles focus on emerging outbreaks and epidemics, groundbreaking articles, diagnostic and treatment/management reviews, and updates in the field as presented at relevant professional conferences.

TARGET AUDIENCE

This activity is intended for health providers who care for persons with ID.

OBJECTIVES

After participating in the activity, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:

1. Discuss current treatment options for infectious diseases.
2. Translate gained knowledge to clinical practice.
3. Recognize new developments in the field.
4. Recognize current national and international epidemics.

REGISTRATION CUT-OFF DATE: October 2, 2019

Methods of Payment: We require full payment prior to the start of the activity.  The registration fee includes instructional materials and unlimited access to content until the expiration date.

  • Registration Fee:  $50.00 for all 12 issues

  • You will receive a confirmation by e-mail. If you have not received it call (410) 502-9634 to confirm that you are registered.  A transcript of attendance will be available upon attestation of your credit hours and submission of the post activity online evaluation.

REFUND POLICY
All purchases are final.

CANCELLATION POLICY

The Johns Hopkins University reserves the right to cancel or postpone any activity due to unforeseen circumstances.  In this event, the University will refund the registration fee. Under such circumstances registrants will be notified as soon as possible.

COURSE FORMAT – METHOD OF PARTICIPATION

This enduring material is expected to take approximately 1 hour per issue to complete. Once the activity is completed, you must pass the post-test and complete the evaluation to receive CME credit.

EVALUATION AND OUTCOMES SURVEY

Post activity, an online evaluation form will be available to attendees to evaluate the activity and identify future educational needs.  Upon completion of the evaluation, the learner must attest to the number of hours in attendance. A certificate of attendance will be available immediately for download or print. The last day to evaluate the material and attest to your credits is October 2, 2020.

POST-TEST

A post-test will be conducted at the conclusion of the activity. A grade of at least 75% within three attempts is needed to receive CME credit.
