80056218 - Foundations of Curriculum Revision for GME Program Leaders August 11 and 20 2021

Residency and fellowship training needs are in constant flux, due to evolving medical knowledge and technology, new learning research and theory, shifting disease patterns, changing societal trends, and program evaluation results. These needs are further influenced by guidelines, mandates, and accreditation standards set by the ACGME. Therefore, residency and fellowship programs need to be updated and renewed on a regular basis. In practice, this is difficult for many reasons—program directors face many competing demands and limited time. Using a systematic approach and working with curriculum experts can help make revision efforts easier and more sustainable.

This activity allows a select group of program leaders to learn and apply the Six-Step Approach to identify and improve the programs they direct as part of a supportive learning community.

COST: $4400

Non-credit professional development tuition remission is available for Johns Hopkins faculty who are also Johns Hopkins University employees.
