Overview
The quintessential interprofessional learning environment optimally applies the clinical expertise of every member of the healthcare team to deliver high value care. To help facilitate the cross-pollination of thoughts and perspectives to create the ultimate IPCP environment requires a community of healthcare teachers who can come together naturally in a shared and supportive environment. We propose to establish a Health Professions Super (Role) Model Program, which will both support and promote faculty leaders to embrace their professional identity as a designated Health Professions Super Model and teacher in an effort to maximize the Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice model at Johns Hopkins. A recent IPCP needs assessment survey of 22 program leaders from 12 departments and 369 housestaff, from 25 departments across the institution revealed a pressing need for more IPCP educational opportunities at Johns Hopkins.

Objectives
  1. Outline precision techniques aimed at enhancing specific roles as an IPE teacher and role model.
  2. Recognize strategies to cultivate these natural talents into intentionally directed strengths.
  3. Identify strategies to apply these mature strengths in pursuit of excellence as an Health Professions Role Model.
  4. Compare and contrast the participants natural talents.
