Some of the topics to be covered include: childhood obesity; sleep disorders; vaping and lung injury; firearm injury prevention; HIV prevention; gender affirming care; concussions; depression and suicide; behavioral health emergencies; immunizations; atopic dermatitis; hypertension; sports injuries and much more.

Objectives
  1. Discuss the latest immunization recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  2. Perform a comprehensive approach to managing children and adolescents with overweight and obesity, based on the 2023 AAP Clinical Practice Guideline.
  3. Discuss harm reduction strategies for families to prevent firearm-related injuries and deaths.
  4. Identify effective ways to discuss health risks associated with cannabis use with adolescents.
  5. Recognize indications for offering Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) for preventing HIV.

ACCREDITATION STATEMENT
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Maryland Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 11 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
