Overview
The purpose of the Curriculum Revision Practicum for GME Program Leaders is to empower GME program leadership with the skills and expertise to enhance their programs/curricula in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner. Residency and fellowship trainingneeds are in constantflux, due to evolving medicalknowledge and technology, new learning researchand theory, shiftingdisease patterns, changing societal trends, and program evaluation results. These needs are further influenced by guidelines, mandates, and accreditation standards set by the ACGME. Therefore, residency and fellowship programs need to be updatedand renewed on a regularbasis. Program leaderswill benefit from a structured approach as part of a supportive learning community of peers and faculty facilitators as they implement their revisions.


Objectives
  1. Enhance their program/curricula in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner.
  2. Promote collaboration among the various GME programs/curricula by creating a professional network of GME.
