Overview
Now in its 18th year, this two-day symposium has been planned for the providers who care for patients with rheumatic disease. Given the wide variety of rheumatologic disorders, and an ever increasing number of diagnostic procedures and treatment options, it is necessary to provide clinicians with information about strategies for the early diagnosis of these conditions, novel state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, and opportunities to utilize the most effective treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Late Fee and Refund Policy
A $25 late fee applies to registrations received after 5:00 p.m. ET on May 7, 2022. A handling fee of $25 will be deducted for cancellation. Refund requests must be received by fax or mail by May 7, 2022. No refunds will be made thereafter. Transfer of registration to another Johns Hopkins activity in lieu of cancellation is not possible.

Objectives
  1. Discuss updates in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
  2. Discuss new ACR guidelines in the management of vasculitis.
  3. Consider treatment plans for the patient with lupus/lupus nephritis.
  4. Appreciate management of interstitial lung disease in patients with rheumatic disease.
  5. Recognize treatment decisions in psoriatic arthritis.
  6. Identify treatments in inflammatory bowel disease.
  7. Discuss the treatment of women with rheumatic disease during pregnancy.

American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 14.50 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.

HOW TO OBTAIN CREDIT
Post activity, an online evaluation will be available to attendees to evaluate the activity and individual presentations and to identify future educational needs. Upon completion of the evaluation, the learner must attest to the number of hours in attendance. Credits earned will be added to the learner’s transcript and immediately available for print. For ABIM credit, a post test is also required and can be found in the same location as the evaluation. The last day to access the evaluation and post-test and to attest to your credits is June 14, 2022.

POST-TEST
A post-test will be conducted at the conclusion of the activity. A grade of at least 70% within three attempts is needed to receive CME credit.
