Overview
This activity has been postponed until further notice.

The purpose of this activity is to provide a state of the art overview of the clinical care of patients with HIV infection for practicing clinicians and other health professionals. The activity will include discussions of HIV epidemiology, clinical management and treatment, and longitudinal care. The material will be clinically oriented with a focus on the latest pertinent data from clinical trials and basic research. Participants can expect to become more familiar with the primary care of the patient with HIV infection and the management of clinical complications of HIV disease.

Internists, Family Practitioners, Infectious Disease Clinicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Social Workers, Counselors, Pharmacists, Case managers and other allied health professionals practicing in the area of HIV..

LATE FEE AND REFUND POLICY
A $50 late fee applies to registrations received after 5:00 p.m. ET on April 28, 2020. A handling fee of $50 will be deducted for cancellation. An additional fee may apply for cancellation of other events, including workshops and social activities. Refund requests must be received by fax or mail by April 28, 2020. No refunds will be made thereafter. Transfer of registration to another Johns Hopkins activity in lieu of cancellation is not possible.

Objectives
  1. Articulate a variety of providers' perspectives on HIV treatment priorities.
  2. Improve the management of viral hepatitis and other liver morbidities.
  3. Address comorbid conditions in people living with HIV including metabolic, renal and psychiatric disease.
  4. Communicate treatment strategies for under-served populations at risk for, or living with, HIV and / or viral hepatitis.
