Overview
This activity is designed to educate the practicing pulmonologist and thoracic surgeon as well as other health care professionals in the teaching of endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and advanced bronchoscopy. The course is designed to offer a comprehensive training session in EBUS and advanced bronchoscopy including both robotic and navigational bronchoscopy and to allow the participant the opportunity to train with experts in the field. Participants will develop a comprehensive knowledge of the indications and algorithms for approaching patients with mediastinal adenopathy and peripheral nodules.

Objectives
  1. Describe current guideline based approaches to lung cancer staging and tissue acquisition requirements.
  2. Select appropriate biopsy techniques for lung cancer diagnosis based on clinical presentation and staging needs.
  3. Demonstrate understanding and application of advanced bronchoscopy techniques, including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and robotic bronchoscopy.
