This course is an introduction to key leadership competencies for medical educators. Participants will design their own leadership development plan that aligns with a strategic vision for their longterm career advancement and shortterm goals within medical education.

1. Compare and contrast key features of leadership models.
2. Selfassess and evaluate personal leadership competencies as it relates to personal qualities, working in an interdisciplinary team, managing people and resources, setting direction, and developing vision within roles in medical education.
3. Create an individualized leadership development plan that aligns with a strategic vision for longterm career advancement and shortterm goals within medical education.
4. Identify areas of innovation in medical education and frameworks for promoting innovation.
5. Compare and contrast change leadership models to support change in medical education.
6. Apply features of wellbeing centered leadership to develop resilience learners and educational programs.
