Overview
This comprehensive two day course is designed to equip ophthalmologists with timely updates on advances in clinical research, diagnostic imaging, and both medical and surgical therapies across the full spectrum of eye care. Expert faculty will review emerging evidence and evolving practice patterns in areas such as age related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataract surgery, corneal disease, pediatric ophthalmology, and oculoplastic disorders. Through lectures, panels, and interactive discussions, participants will gain the knowledge and confidence to integrate these advances into their own practice, with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Objectives
  1. Summarize the latest developments for the management of anterior and posterior segment problems.
  2. Evaluate emerging literature on the efficacy, safety, and costeffectiveness of femtosecondassisted laser cataract surgery.
  3. Examine external legislative and internal practice issues impacting the field of ophthalmology.
  4. Assess the perioperative use of antibiotics and antiinflammatory agents in patients undergoing eye surgery.
  5. Integrate prescribed medical and surgical treatment options into everyday practice.
