Overview
The Lean Sigma Prescription for Healthcare® Green Belt Certificate Course customizes the Lean Sigma approach for health care professionals. This approach combines Lean Methodology, focusing on optimizing flow, increasing speed and reducing waste, with Six Sigma statistical tools to identify root causes and reduce defects.

Objectives
  1. Evaluate appropriate stakeholders for a process improvement project; assess stakeholder level of support
  2. Examine and characterize the current state, or baseline, of a process
  3. Select which statistical tests are appropriate to the data types of the Xs and Ys
  4. Analyze a data set for normality, stability, and capability & interpret the results of this analysis
  5. Analyze a data set for changes in centering and spread.
  6. Assess if a p-value is statistically significant.
  7. Develop a regression model based off a data set.
  8. Assess for key variables based on hypothesis test results.
  9. Use the appropriate statistical tools to determine the effectiveness of interventions
  10. Create graphical depictions of before and after measurements
  11. Apply the course concepts to their Green Belt project
