Clinical teams in community hospitals face unique challenges responding to pediatric emergencies. Most critically ill children present to general hospital emergency departments, where low pediatric volumes, few pediatric trained clinicians, and limited pediatric resources often create barriers to the rapid escalation of care and definitive treatment. This simulation training program for interprofessional teams in low pediatric resource settings is an intervention to improve rapid escalation of care.

1. Effectively perform key psychomotor resuscitation skills.
2. Apply principles of interprofessional code communication for high performance teams.
3. Use Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) algorithms to manage emergent events.
