Overview

The purpose of the Curriculum Revision Practicum for GME Program Leaders is to empower GME program leadership with the skills and expertise to enhance their programs/curricula in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner. Residency and fellowship  are in constant flux, due to evolving medical knowledge and technology, new learning research and theory, shifting disease patterns, changing societal trends, and program evaluation results. These needs are further influenced by guidelines, mandates, and accreditation standards set by the ACGME. Therefore, residency and fellowship programs need to be updated and renewed on a regular basis. Program leaders will benefit from a structured approach as part of a supportive learning community of peers and faculty facilitators as they implement their revisions.

Cost: $4,550
Non-credit professional development tuition remission is available for Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine employees.

If you are interested in attending this program, please contact Kim Mryncza at [email protected] prior to registration.

Objectives
  1. Enhance their program/curricula in an efficient, effective, and proactive manner.
  2. Promote collaboration among the various GME programs/curricula by creating a professional network of GME.
