Objectives
  1. Consider autoinflammation in the differential diagnosis of febrile illnesses.
  2. Manage and refer patients with vitiligo and other dermatologic conditions.
  3. Evaluate and manage children with recurrent fevers.
  4. Diagnose and manage functional neurological disorders.
  5. Diagnose and describe the management of obstructive sleep apnea, including the use of upper airway stimulation devices.
  6. Perform better Evaluation and Management coding to minimize risk of billing fraud.
  7. Diagnose and manage patients with food allergies.
  8. Recognize and treat patients with congenital syphilis and other emerging infections.
  9. Apply practical clinical information from recent studies reviewed during JournalQuest.
  10. Describe the primary care and surgical management of upper airway anomalies.
  11. Recommend nutritional interventions for teens with eating disorders.
  12. Implement guidelines for managing pediatric obesity.
  13. Recognize and refer speech problems in autistic children.
  14. Prescribe psychotropic medications for children with autism spectrum disorder.
