Overview
Since our last conference, management and overall care needs of patients with breast cancer has become increasingly complex, especially in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Key recent changes include availability of multiple new agents, advances in the use of immunotherapy and targeted therapies, and further integration of genomic platforms into therapeutic decision making. Optimizing breast cancer outcomes and minimizing toxicities of therapy requires individualized decision making and, often, complex multi-disciplinary care. This conference will provide updates in the management of metastatic breast cancer with a special session focused on multi-disciplinary care of central nervous system metastases. In addition, the conference will explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on breast cancer diagnosis and care, offer updates on supportive care for patients with breast cancer. Participants will also learn to optimize therapy for early stage breast cancer by incorporating immunotherapy for triple negative disease and by utilizing genomic assays and other tools to guide therapy for hormone-receptor positive disease in both pre- and post-menopausal patients.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This activity is intended for radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, internists, gynecologists, family practice physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other professionals involved in prevention, screening, diagnosis and management of breast cancer.
