Overview

The purpose of this activity is to provide a state-of-the-art overview of the clinical care of patients with HIV infection for practicing clinicians and other health professionals. The activity will include discussions of HIV epidemiology, clinical management and treatment, and longitudinal care. The material will be clinically oriented with a focus on the latest pertinent data from clinical trials and basic research. Participants can expect to become more familiar with the primary care of the patient with HIV infection and the management of clinical complications of HIV disease.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Internists, Family Practitioners, Infectious Disease Clinicians, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Social Workers, Counselors, Pharmacists, Case managers and other allied health professionals practicing in the area of HIV.

REGISTRATION AND HOW TO OBTAIN CREDITS
There is no fee to participate. You can access the content by clicking 'Test' tab and then 'Launch Video' button to launch the videos.
Once you have viewed the content, to obtain credits, click on Post-Tests to complete the post-test and evaluation. You must earn a grade of at least 70% within three attempts to receive CME credit.

There are no prerequisites to participate in this activity.

COURSE FORMAT – METHOD OF PARTICIPATION
This enduring material is expected to take approximately 10.5 hours to complete. Once the activity is completed, you must pass the post-test and complete the evaluation with attestation to receive CME credit.
 
EVALUATION AND OUTCOMES SURVEY
Post activity, an online evaluation form will be available to attendees to evaluate the activity and identify future educational needs. Upon completion of the evaluation, the learner must attest to the number of hours in attendance. A certificate of attendance will be available immediately for download or print. The last day to evaluate the material and attest to your credits is August 29, 2024.

POST-TEST
A post-test will be conducted at the conclusion of the activity. A grade of at least 70% within three attempts is needed to receive CME credit.
