The 14th Advances in Pediatric Nutrition is designed to provide the most updated advances and practical approaches to contemporary issues in pediatric nutrition. This activity will provide unique opportunities to learn, share, and investigate new ways of assessing and managing pediatric patients with unique nutritional needs.

LATE FEE AND REFUND POLICY
A $25 late fee applies to registrations received after 5:00 p.m. ET on November 3, 2020. A handling fee of $25 will be deducted for cancellation. An additional fee may apply for cancellation of other events, including workshops and social activities. Refund requests must be received by fax or mail by November 3, 2020 . No refunds will be made thereafter. Transfer of registration to another Johns Hopkins activity in lieu of cancellation is not possible.

Objectives
  1. Explain the relationship between feeding practices and immunity, the microbiome and inflammation.
  2. Describe the role of the Crohn’s Disease Elimination Diet (CDED) in treating pediatric IBD.
  3. Discuss effective counseling strategies applicable to the pediatric population.
  4. Identify strategies to optimize nutritional intake in the NICU.
