Overview

This activity was scheduled for the spring of 2020 and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it will take place online, Friday, October 2, 2020. 

The diagnosis, treatment and overall care needs of breast cancer patients becomes more complex every year due to innovative improvements in therapies, better screening processes, and multidisciplinary care models developing across the US. The indications for axillary node dissection continue to change. Immununotherapy with immune checkpoint blockade is achieving startling results in some patients. There are more options for molecular profiling of tumors, as well as more choices about systemic therapies and radiation therapy.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This activity is intended for radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other professionals involved in prevention, screening, diagnosis and management of breast cancer.

  3. Identify areas of controversy in neoadjuvant treatment of breast cancer.
