The 13th Advances in Pediatric Nutrition is designed to provide the most updated, advanced and practical approaches to contemporary issues in pediatric nutrition. This activity will provide unique opportunities to learn, share and investigate new ways of assessing and managing pediatric patients with complex nutritional needs.

Late Fee and Refund Policy
A $50 late fee applies to registrations received after 5:00 p.m. ET on November 6, 2018. A handling fee of $50 will be deducted for cancellation. An additional fee may apply for cancellation of other events, including workshops and social activities. Refund requests must be received by fax or mail by November 6, 2018. No refunds will be made thereafter. Transfer of registration to another Johns Hopkins activity in lieu of cancellation is not possible.

Objectives
  1. Identify appropriate formulas and feeding regimens for premature infants, including those most appropriate for minimizing the development of cholestasis in long-term parenteral nutrition administration.
  2. Describe the 2017 nutrition support guidelines for the critically ill pediatric patient.
  3. Discuss the relationship between mindful eating and wellness in children.
  4. Compare and contrast the nutritional therapy options for IBD and their application.
  5. Identify malnutrition in hospitalized pediatric patients.

Accreditation
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement
The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 12.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
