The Advanced Topics in Infectious Diseases - ID and Antimicrobial Resistance - AMR is a comprehensive online course featuring eight modules covering essential infectious disease topics. Modules include common inpatient ID consults, CNS infections, severe respiratory tract infections, transplant and oncology-related infections, antimicrobial resistance management, recurrent UTIs, invasive fungal infections, and vaccination strategies, equipping primary care providers with practical knowledge for managing complex cases.

1. Recall the diagnosis and management of multi-drug resistant organisms.
2. Explain common infections associated with transplantation or malignancy, including common pathogens, diagnosis, and management strategies.
3. Express comprehensive knowledge of common inpatient infectious diseases consultations including endocarditis, staph aureus bacteremia, osteomyelitis and joint infections, abdominal infections, and CNS infections.
4. Describe the evaluation and management of invasive fungal infections, herpesviruses, and other opportunistic infections associated with immunosuppressed hosts.
