Neda F. Gould, PhD is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.  She serves as the Director of the Johns Hopkins Mindfulness Program. Following graduate school, she completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in psychology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine before joining the faculty. In addition to treating adult patients with anxiety and depression using cognitive-behavioral therapy, one of her primary areas of interest is teaching Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and other mindfulness programs to patients with psychiatric and/or medical conditions, as well as to faculty/staff to address stress and burnout. Dr. Gould was recently inducted into the Johns Hopkins Medicine Miller-Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence. She is a contributor to local and national media and news releases, and she lectures regularly to audiences on the benefits of mindfulness meditation for health and well-being.
