Eva Seligman has a passion for improving the care of injured children.  In particular, she is interested in sports-related injuries and the transition of care from the pediatric emergency department to the primary care setting.  She trained in pediatrics at Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago and is now a senior fellow in pediatric emergency medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She has engaged in research in a variety of fields ranging from management of acute knee pain, to epidemiologic factors associated with emergency department visits for concussion. She is also invested in trainee education and the use of checklists to improve the quality of pediatric trauma resuscitation in the academic setting.
