ARMIN A. ZADEH, MD, PhD, MPH, FACC, FAHA, MSCCT

 

 

 

 

Professor Armin Zadeh is a cardiologist and the Director of Cardiac Computed Tomography at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Division of Cardiology and Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. Dr. Zadeh was one of the main investigators of the CorE-64 study and currently directs the CT coronary angiography core laboratory.  Dr. Zadeh’s clinical and investigational focus is the evaluation and management of patients with suspected coronary heart disease. Together with Dr. Valentin Fuster, he authored several seminial papers on the pathophysiology of acute coronary events and the vulnerable plaque concept. Dr. Zadeh is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Cardiovascular CT and of a forecoming textbook on Cardiac CT.
