Dr. Aliaksei Pustavoitau is an assistant professor of anesthesiology and critical care medicine in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is the Director of Perioperative Ultrasound in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. In his role, Dr. Pustavoitau provides clinical service, coordination, education, research and vision for all ultrasound imaging initiatives across all divisions and clinical areas. He is a recognized expert and an advocate for critical care ultrasound program building through his involvement with the the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Society of Critical Care Anesthesiologists. He co-edited Comprehensive Critical Care Ultrasound book in its 1st edition, an authoritative guide to applications of critical care ultrasound, the initiative by the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
