Mitchell Goldstein MD MBA

 

Mitchell Goldstein is the Medical Director of the Johns Hopkins Child Protection Team at the Children’s Center, which sees on average 1200 children a year with suspicion of abuse and neglect.  He also serves as a leader of the State of Maryland Child Abuse Medical Providers Program overseeing the State’s peer review program. Dr Goldstein is a pediatric emergency medicine attending at Johns Hopkin Children’s Center and leads the clinical associate and physician assistant program there.  He is a member of the Miller Coulson Academy of Academy of clinical Excellence at Johns Hopkins Medicine, has been awarded the Child Advocate Award from Maryland Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and has received numerous teaching awards. He speaks locally and nationally on topics of child maltreatment as well as publishing on similar topics.
