Dr. Zucker is Founder and Director of the Duke Center for Eating Disorders (DCED), an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Duke University School of Medicine, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Duke University. Dr Zucker’s research interests include the treatment of eating disorders in adolescents and children including anorexia nervosa, ARFID and other eating disorders. She holds NIH funding and is currently involved in development and pilot-testing of an acceptance-based behavioral treatment for young children with functional abdominal pain and has extensive experience in family-based treatment approaches for adolescents with eating disorders, including in-home care delivery.
